Designs and texts can be in any colour combination desired. The price does not change with the number of colours in your design.

owayo Colour Palette

The owayo colour palette includes over 30 shades. Additionally, we can also print any specially defined colours to match to your corporate or club guidelines.

Colour Sample on Fabric

Please keep in mind, that colours displayed on your monitor do not always accurately reflect how they will look on actual fabric. Depending on the various settings, they can vary slightly or greatly.
To avoid misinterpretation, we will gladly send you a free colour sample on fabric for you to examine. This will then allow you to confirm the final result.

Limited Colours for Short 'padding-area' / polyamide

Unlike the rest of our cycling garments, all components to our shorts are not printable. The 'padding-area' on upper-inner thighs and towards rear, are made from a more durable and robust fabric in which cannot be printed on. The size and coverage of the printable area, and polyamide area, depends on which cut shorts you choose; U panel, Side panel, etc. This area of material is only available in 9 colours.
Please note that the colours on the printable area may sometimes appear somewhat lighter that the colour of the polyamide area. The more this area is stretched, the lighter the colouring will appear. Our staff will be able to consult you more on what colouring might work best for your design.

What colours can I have?

In principle, it is possible to order in almost any colour. Neons, however are quite difficult. For all other colours, it is nonetheless essential for us to communicate exactly which colour you are aiming to achieve.

The easiest solution for this is to choose a colour from our owayo-palette or from a standardised colouring system such as Pantone, HKS or RAL (these are universal colour systems which enable a non-ambigious communication).
You are also welcome to send us an actual sample of your colour (e.g. a sticker, stationary or the like).

How realistic are the colours on my screen?

Colours are not always the same! The colours on your screen are dependent on the device you are using, your graphics card, and/or your settings. Screen colours can differ significantly from actual colours. The best way to define a colour is using a colour from the owayo palette or a colour matching system such as: Pantone, RAL or HKS.

We can also send you a printing proof for you to see before ordering. This is merely a piece of fabric in which we will print your desired colour(s) to ensure your satisfaction.

Does the colour on the jersey wash-out or fade over time?

Our printing process dyes the colour directly into the fabric fibres. This ensures the most authentic and resistant colour that does not fade or wash-out.

All texts and logos are printed simultaneously in one stage of the production, requiring no later applications such as glueing or ironing which often break-off, deteriorate, or fade.

What colours do you recommend for cycling?

Choosing a colour is a matter of taste. We can print in almost every colour.
Please note however, that bright colours help keep you safe - and seen - on the road!

Why are the colours available for Bike shorts so restricted?

Cycling shorts are routinely put through the hardest conditions and circumstances. To prolong the life of your shorts, we use in a strong and durable material in the critical inner thigh area. Unfortunately, this durable material is pre-manufactured in only 9 different colours.

This colour limitation is only restricted to the padding/chamois area in the inner thighs. This area is hardly visible when riding. The remaining area of the shorts can be dyed and printed without any restriction.
